His Holiness Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso blessed the Candles before they were placed at the feet of the Holy Cross of Lord Jesus Christ, who sacrificed his life for and on behalf of us. This Statue of Holy Cross was blessed by the Most Holy Apostle, on Saturday evening 17th September 2016, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Katunayake.
