In the evening of 30th October 2010, Rashen Supeshala Bandara, the little son of Mr. & Mrs. Nilnuwan Bandara, came before His Holiness the Apostolic Father along with his parents, and offered a Chalice for the Elevation of Holy Masses.
The Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso is an Apostle. An Apostle is Chosen and Appointed by Lord Jesus Christ Himself. A happening like that occurs very rarely in the world. Lord Jesus Christ gives all Powers to the Apostle whom He Appoints. Therefore, you will gather special merits when you offer a Chalice to an Apostle who has received the Power from Lord Jesus Christ Himself, for the Elevation of Holy Masses.
On 30th October 2010, The Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, Elevated the Holy Mass in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, from the Chalice which was offered to him by this little child, Rashen Supeshala Bandara.
