The Blessed Virgin Mary who has performed wonders in many places in the world in many occasions has begun to Appear in Sri Lanka. Our Blessed Virgin Mary has Appeared before Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso for the 1st time on 5th February 1975. In past 36 years Blessed Mother Mary has Appeared for 23 instances and She has given a promise that She will Appear for the 24th occasion as well. Our Blessed Mother has already mentioned the exact Date and the Time of Her 24th Appearance to Holy Apostolic Father but the Holy Apostolic Father is keeping it as a top secret. It will be a breathtaking moment if we are fortunate to see this Appearance on the exact date and at the exact time. Our Holy Apostolic Father has already given a clue about this spiritual moment.
Before this also Our Blessed Mother Mary Appeared before Holy Apostolic Father along with Baby Jesus on 27th July in the Year of 1977.
Various false rumors were being spread from the day Our Blessed Virgin Mary started to Appear in Katunayake in Sri Lanka. Severe criticisms were also leveled against Her Appearances and those false rumors and criticisms are being still spread. Nevertheless, these Appearances are still not defunct as yet and these Appearances of Blessed Mother Mary have been completed victoriously for the 36th year. People who come to Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine in Sri Lanka are being showered upon with Spiritual Blessings with the Intercession of Blessed Virgin Mary.
