He was born at midnight on 1st February 1957 amidst all the luxuries. We truly think, the birth time of His Holiness The Apostle as a Divine plan, because Lord Jesus Christ Himself added His Holiness to His lineage of Apostles. His Holiness The Apostle who was born to parents in a well to do business family in the area, inherited a luxuriant life from His birth and He could live enjoying all those luxuries only for a period of 18 years.
Precisely 3 days after celebrating His 18th birthday on 2nd February 1975, the Blessed Virgin Mary made Her appearance in person in front of His Holiness The Apostle on 5th February 1975. His Holiness, who came to know on that day from the Blessed Mother that He has been specially chosen by the God on behalf of the whole world, would have been contemplating about the massive responsibility which He was going to be entrusted.
However, His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, who understood that the first priority was to bow His head to the Will of God, was fortunate to receive the blessed opportunity of receiving the Most Sacred Apostleship from Lord Jesus Christ Himself, two days after receiving the message from the Blessed Virgin Mary. With that, another Apostle, chosen and appointed by an apparition was added as Apostle Paul, who was chosen and appointed by an apparition of Lord Jesus Christ on an earlier occasion.
His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, who was chosen by an apparition of Lord Jesus Christ on the evening of 7th February 1975 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Katunayake, Sri Lanka, received a special opportunity from Lord Jesus Christ at that moment itself.
