The Most Venerable Dedunupitiya Somarathana Maha Thero is the Chief Incumbent of the Jethavanarama Viharaya in Sevathnuwara and a lecturer in Pali Language in the University of Baranesa. The Most Venerable Somarathana Maha Thero is a close friend of Holy Apostolic Father for more than two decades.
The 89 year old Most Venerable Somarathana Maha Thero had a cordial discussion with the Holy Apostolic Father for a period of more than two hours. After having the discussion, the Most Venerable Maha Thero presented a book to the Holy Apostolic Father.
