Mrs. C.A.R. Damayanthi Silva of Kurana presented a Chalice to the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, at the Holy Mass which was celebrated in the Evening of 29th January 2011.
His Holiness the Apostolic Father was summoned to the “Most Sacred Apostleship” by Lord Jesus Christ, by appearing in this world. Therefore, the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, is the “OFFICIAL, GENUINE VICAR OF CHRIST” in this world. Hence, people consider that, it is a fortune to participate in a Liturgical Celebration which is presided over by His Holiness the Apostolic Father. Similarly, they also consider that presenting a Chalice to him for the Holy Masses is a Sacred Donation.
Accordingly, on 29th January 2011, in the evening, the Most Holy Apostolic Father Elevated the Holy Mass from the Chalice that was presented to him on that day.
