The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared before the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, for the 1st time on 5th February 1975. Two days after the appearance of the Blessed Mother, Lord Jesus Christ, appeared before him and appointed him as an “Apostle” to the world.
Up to 5th February 2011, the Blessed Mother Mary has appeared before His Holiness the Apostolic Father for 23 occasions. She has also given a promise to the Holy Apostolic Father that She will appear before him Once Again, and She has also informed him the Next Date of Her Expected Arrival.
The Solemn Vespers, which was celebrated to Commemorate the Completion of 36th year of the Appearances of the Blessed Virgin Mary before the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, was celebrated on 5th February 2011 amidst a massive gathering of people. At the end of the solemn vespers, the Apostolic General Audience was held, and at this Apostolic General Audience, Mr. Nilnuwan Bandara of Seeduwa, who came before His Holiness the Apostolic Father, presented an ornament to him which was made in crystal glass. The following words were embossed on that ornament.
“Your Holiness the Most Holy Apostolic Father, We Love You Enormously”
