“Mother of God loves all of you, enormously. I proclaim this because I am a person who converse with Her and I am a person who knows Her thoughts and intentions. I still remember how the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Lord Jesus Christ, came to me on several occasions to prepare me, before Lord Jesus Christ consecrated me to the Most Sacred Apostleship. Now, you are in a Ground where Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Mother Mary, comes and goes. You are now, living in a period where Lord Jesus Christ has appointed an Apostle to this world, after a period of more than 1000 years. You, who are presently living in that era, have now come to that place, where Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Mother Mary, appear. Therefore, when the Blessed Mother Mary wants to grant immense graces to all of you, in an era where an Apostle is living, what you should do is not to get distanced from her, but to get closer and closer to her”.
The Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso made these reflections during the course of his Homily, which he delivered at the Vespers Novena for Honour & Glory to Blessed Mother, which was held in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, on Saturday 1st March 2003. Christians are fortunate to have a person who is still among the living, who could proclaim a similar statement.
The Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine means a Most Sacred Shrine which is in the world today. Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Mother Mary have also appeared in this Shrine. People come to this Shrine every Saturday evening, from various places, to participate in the holy services which are presided over by the Holy Apostolic Father, who was fortunate to see Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Mother Mary, in this world itself. They show a great enthusiasm not only to participate in the holy services which are presided over by the Most Holy Apostolic Father but also to obtain his Most Powerful Apostolic Blessing. And by doing so, they receive immense graces. Some of the graces, which they have received, have become miraculous happenings, in their lives.
People who came from various places, were converged in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, in the evening of 7th May 2011, to attend the Vespers Novena for Honour & Glory to Blessed Mother, which was presided over by the Holy Apostolic Father, and to receive his Apostolic Blessing. They were also hoping to obtain miraculous graces from the Blessed Virgin Mary, which she grants from the Shrine of Our Lady of Katunayake.
