The General Audience of His Holiness the Apostolic Father which is being held weekly, on every Saturday evenings, is usually presided over by the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso.
On 9th April 2011, the General Audience was held in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
On that day, the Feast of the Holy Cross was also celebrated by the Holy Apostolic Father and the General Audience was held at the conclusion of the Feast of the Holy Cross.
A massive gathering of people attended the General Audience which was presided over by the Most Holy Apostolic Father.
As the Apparition Church and the Shrine Ground was packed to capacity, a large number of people gathered near the highway, which is just outside the Shrine Ground, to attend the General Audience of Holy Apostolic Father. Due to this there was congestion in traffic on the highway.
All of them were hoping to kneel before the Holy Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, and to obtain his Apostolic Blessing. Holy Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso was appointed to this world by Lord Jesus Christ Himself, by an Appearance. “Holy Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso is the Genuine Symbol of Lord Jesus Christ in this world”.
