In the night of 17th May, the Director of Apostolic See Press Office, Mr. Manoj Chinthaka, told the “Apostolic Tribune” that to mark the Vesak Feast and the 17th May 2011, celebration of the 2600th Anniversary of the Enlightenment of the Lord Buddha, the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, has sent a Special Vesak Greeting on Vesak Full Moon Poya Day, 17th May, to the Venerable Maha Sangha, who associates him closely.
