The Festive High Mass of the Feast of the Holy Cross was celebrated in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, in the evening of Saturday 9th April 2011.
The Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, entered the Apparition Church across the Shrine Ground to celebrate the Festive High Mass. Due to the enthusiasm of the massive gathering of people who were trying to kiss his sacred arms and who were trying to place their hands on his sacred vestments, the Holy Apostolic Father had to spent a long time to enter the Apparition Church since he was also blessing them while he was on his way to the Apparition Church to celebrate the Festive High Mass.
The Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso not only has shown the world, the path of the Cross, but also guides the people on that path. Therefore, it is not surprising to see the manner the people were respecting him because he consoles them and helps them to soften the crosses in their lives.

His Holiness the Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, is an Apostle, who was Chosen and Appointed by Lord Jesus Christ by Appearing in this world. He was also fortunate to see Blessed Mother Mary to his own eyes for 23 occasions.
