Tens of thousands of people, who arrived from various places, gathered in the Apparition Church, as well as in the Shrine Ground of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, and also near the highway, which is just outside the Shrine Ground, to participate in the Eucharistic Celebration, which was presided over by the Most Holy Apostolic Father, on 9th April 2011, and to obtain the Blessing from the Holy Cross.
This mammoth gathering, which belongs to various nationalities and various religions, devotedly, participated in the Eucharistic Celebration which was celebrated by the Sri Lankan Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, who grants his Apostolic Blessing to all, without any differences.
