When Lord Jesus Christ was living in this world he declared the following words. “You want to kill me, a man who has told you the truth as I have learnt it from God”. (John 8/40) Absolutely, it gives a pain to hear these words which Christ has declared. Lord Jesus Christ has clearly stated that he is the Son of God. We believed it, and today, we have become his followers. Yet, Christ has been assassinated.
The Apostles of Lord Jesus Christ also had to experience the pain of death, because they declared the truth which they learned from Christ. The 1st Apostle, who was Chosen and Appointed to the world by Lord Jesus Christ, by appearing in this world, was also murdered because he declared the truth about Christ.
Now, there is another Apostle, who is still living in this world, who was Chosen and Appointed to this world by Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, who is residing at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, in Sri Lanka. This Holy Apostle, who is still among the living, reveals much information about Lord Jesus Christ and Blessed Virgin Mary. Are we really, going to listen to this Apostle? Or are we going to assassinate this Apostle also? We who are presently living in this world have to think about this very seriously.
The Feast of the Holy Cross, which was presided over by the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, was celebrated in the evening of Saturday 9th April 2011, in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, to commemorate the death of Lord Jesus Christ, who sacrificed his life on the Cross. Lord Jesus Christ is the Divine Master of this Apostle, and all the other Apostles, who have sacrificed their lives. The enthusiasm of devotees to receive the Holy Communion from the Sacred Arms of this Holy Apostle was the sight which was most eye-catching on that day.
