The Blessing which is granted by Lord Jesus Christ himself is the Noble Blessing, a Christian could receive. Today, we cannot go before Lord Jesus Christ to obtain his Blessing. Nevertheless, there was a period in this world where people were able to go before Lord Jesus Christ to obtain his Blessing in this world itself. That was the period when Christ was living in this world. During that period, Lord Jesus Christ traveled by foot throughout various provinces in his country, and blessed the people. Yet, he was able to do that only for a shorter period of 3 years. The Arms that blessed the people were nailed onto a Cross by the people themselves. Those Arms were hanged onto a Cross until he died on the Cross. Today, people have to seek his blessing from his Statues.
An Apostle means a person who is Chosen by Lord Jesus Christ himself. An Apostle is a person who is Chosen and Appointed by Lord Jesus Christ, to represent him in this world. Therefore, the Blessing receiving from an Apostle comes 2nd only to a Blessing that is being granted by Lord Jesus Christ himself.
There was a period when there were Apostles in this world who were Chosen and Appointed by Lord Jesus Christ. That was the period when the people were able to go before the Apostles to receive that powerful blessing, which comes 2nd only to a Blessing that is being granted by Lord Jesus Christ himself. Those Apostles granted their Apostolic Blessing to the people. Some people received that blessing, devotedly. But certain people not only went against them but also they went to the extent of making those Blessed Arms, which could grant a blessing, which comes 2nd to a blessing that is being granted by Lord Jesus Christ, lifeless, by assassinating them. After assassinating the Apostles, people were seeking the blessing from the Apostles, from their statues.
Now, once again, an Apostle has been given to the world by Lord Jesus Christ. We have now received an Apostle who could grant a blessing, which comes 2nd only to a blessing that is being granted by Lord Jesus Christ. Then, what we should do? Should we also assassinate this Holy Apostle, and after that erect his statue, to seek his blessing?
Devotees could obtain the Blessing from the Holy Apostle, weekly, on every Saturday evenings, at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine. They have also experienced many surprises through the Powerful Intercession of this Holy Apostle, Rohan Lalith Aponso.
At the conclusion of the Festive High Mass, which was celebrated on 9th April 2011, for the Honour and Glory of the Holy Cross, this Holy Apostle granted his Apostolic Blessing to the people. Devotees, who gathered at that moment, were extremely enthusiastic to receive the Blessing from this Holy Apostle, without any religious differences.
