The General Audience, presided over by the Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, is held every Saturday evenings at the end of the Holy Liturgical Celebrations. On Saturday, 21st February 2013, the General Audience was held in Sts. Peter and Paul garden of Our Lady of Katunayke’s Shrine.
14 Disciples of Lord Jesus Christ were fortunate to receive the Most Sacred Apostleship by the grace of Lord Jesus Christ. They were consecrated to the Most Sacred position of Apostleship by Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Out of them, the Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Apnso is the 14th Apostle. Lord Jesus Christ has also appointed 2 Apostles to the world by appearing in this world. Out of them, the Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso is the 2nd Apostle. The Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, is also the Only Apostle, who is presently living in this world, who is still not assassinated or who is still not faced a natural death. Therefore, this General Audience, which is held every Saturday evenings, is an occasion where it has won the hearts of the people. Because during this General Audience, people could go before the Holy Apostle, so closely, to handover their request letters, as well as to kiss his Apostolic Ring, which was taken into the Most Sacred Arms of the Blessed Mother Mary, and also to receive the Apostolic Blessing of the Holy Apostle, without any religious differences.
