The Most Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso celebrated his thirty-ninth Christmas Mass at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
The Christmas Mass, which was celebrated by the Holy Apostle, in the midnight of 24th December, was the thirty-ninth Christmas Mass, which he celebrated as an Apostle. The Most Holy Apostle received the Divine Appointment of the Most Sacred Apostleship on 7th February 1975. Therefore, by receiving the Divine Appointment of the Most Sacred Apostleship, the Most Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, has received the Highest Noble position that any Christian in this world could receive. Lord Jesus Christ is the leader of all Christians. As the leader of all Christians, Christ Himself grants this Most Sacred Appointment. Fourteen persons have received this Most Sacred position within this period of two thousand thirteen years. The Most Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, who is presently residing in Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, is the fourteenth person, who has finally, received this Most Sacred Apostleship.
These days the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine is under reconstruction. Therefore, the Christmas Mass was celebrated in Holy Apostles Peter & Paul Garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
Dressed in gold colour vestments, the Most Hoy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, imparted the blessing from the “Statue of Bethlehem Baby Jesus”.
Devotees converged in Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine from various places, in faith, to participate in the Christmas Mass of the Only Apostle, who is presently living in this world.
