The solemn High Mass, offered to mark the 57th Birthday of the Most Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, was commenced at 11.30 pm on 1st February 2014.
The Most Holy Apostle offered the solemn High Mass at Holy Apostles Peter & Paul garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine with the participation of people, who converged in the Shrine of Our Lady of Katunayake from various places notwithstanding the midnight.
At the end of the solemn High Mass, the Most Holy Apostle, arrived in the midst of people for his 57th birthday celebration, organized by the Administrative Committee of the Shrine and cut the birthday cake amidst the applause of the devotees, while the birthday song was being sung.
