Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, offered Holy Mass on Saturday 12th October 2013, in Holy Apostles Peter & Paul garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
On that day, during the course of his Homily, the Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, revealed extremely important information about Apostle John and about the latter part of his life. Apostle John is the Only Apostle, who faced a natural death.
Out of the Apostles, who were chosen and appointed to this world by Lord Jesus Christ himself, the Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, is the Only Apostle, who is presently living in this world. Therefore, every Saturday evening, devotees arrive at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine from faraway places. They arrive at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, in faith, because they consider it is a special privilege for them to participate in a Holy Mass, which He offers.
Devotees arrive at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, not only to participate in the Holy Mass, which this Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso offers, but also to receive Holy Communion and the Apostolic Blessing from his sacred arms. Therefore, every Saturday evening, devotees leave Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine without any religious differences, after receiving strength to face the following week.
