“My heart aches when I see the plight that has befallen on the words that Christ has taught this world. I feel very sad to see the plight that has befallen on the Doctrine that Lord Jesus Christ himself has preached. Christ sacrificed his life for each and every word that he has preached to the people of this world. Sacrificing his life was the final outcome of his teachings. Later on, Apostles also followed that path. Supposing, if Apostles also did not sacrifice their lives to protect the Doctrine that their Teacher, Lord Jesus Christ has preached, then, today, there wouldn’t have been a word call “Christianity” in this world. A voice of an Apostle could not be heard in this world for a considerable period of time. Therefore, today, instead of a clean and true Christianity, a Christianity, which is corrupted, has been spread all over the world, even though, the word “Christianity” exists in the world. Therefore, as an Apostle, I am duty bounded to take necessary steps to end the corruption in Christianity”.
The Most Holy Apostle, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, said this in Nuwara Eliya. The Holy Apostle spent a brief holiday in Nuwara Eliya for 3days, from 6th November to 08th November 2013.
