His Holiness Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso presided over a special meeting on Monday night, 4th January 2016, to make his officials aware of his activities in the newly dawned year. At this meeting the Holy Apostle made a lengthy description about his service to God, which is expected to take a dramatic turn shortly. The Holy Apostle also explained his service to the people in details.
A limited number of officials of the Holy Apostle were invited for this special meeting which was held at Hotel Jet Wing Lagoon in Negombo.
The Secretary to the Holy Apostle, Mr. Ashok Fernando, The Director of the Apostolic Media Networks, Mr. Manoj Chinthaka, The Media Spokesman of the Apostolic Media Networks, Mr. Sashika Vishan, Mr. Venerious Fernando & Mr. Sampath Fernando of the Apostolic Security Division, Mr. Nilnuwan Bandara & Mr. Suren Fernando of the Apostolic Media Networks were the officials who were invited to participate at this meeting.
The General Manager of Hotel Jet Wing Lagoon, Negombo, was the first to welcome the Holy Apostle His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso when he arrived at the hotel.
Subsequently, the Holy Apostle was escorted to the venue and the meeting began after he conducted a brief prayer.
The Holy Apostle explained most of his new plans to his officials at this meeting which was held on 4th January from 7.00 pm onwards until midnight at Hotel Jet Wing Lagoon, Negombo. He requested his officials who were present at this meeting to openly express their views on behalf of the general public and to make suggestions in executing these plans for the benefit of the general public.
The Most Holy Apostle His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso spoke briefly at this meeting. At the beginning of the meeting the Holy Apostle told his officials to express their views and to discuss their suggestions between themselves so that he could take a decision once he listen to their discussion.
All the officials who were present at the meeting expressed their views and it was well noticeable that they were conducting their discussion cordially between themselves.
It was also seen that the Most Holy Apostle His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso was listening to their discussion silently. During the entire period of discussion the Holy Apostle, referred to the Holy Bible only for once to explain a certain point.
It was passed midnight when this meeting ended. The Most Holy Apostle His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso offered a thanksgiving prayer before he left the hotel. He also thanked the officials for participating at the discussion and expressing their views.
