Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, where the Blessed Mother Mary has appeared for 23 times by now, is today well and widely known among the people, as the ‘Miraculous Shrine’, due to the Miracles that are taking place regularly in this Shrine. These Miracles are taking place with the total consent of the Immaculate Virgin Mary. The abundant relief that general public are receiving through these miracles, irrespective of any differences, is a reflection of the love that Blessed Mother has towards all the people as a Mother. It is also a reflection of Her Immaculate Heart, getting soaked due to pains, sorrows and tears of Her children.
This ‘Miraculous Prayer, which was composed by our Most Holy Apostle His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso, who was fortunate to see the Blessed Mother Mary to His own eyes, was recited for the first time on Saturday evening 8th October 2012. A Miracle took place on that day when this prayer was recited for the 1st time.
A Cist, in the womb of a 19 year old school girl, advised by the doctors to remove it together with the womb, disappeared and she was completely cured. That was the major miracle which took place on that day.
After this ‘Miraculous Prayer’ was recited on 8th October 2012, it was recited once again, on Saturday 29th April 2017. From there onwards until now, this prayer is being recited every Saturday evening, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Katunayake, with the participation of devotees who gather at the Shrine, at that moment.
After this ‘Miraculous Prayer’ was recited on Saturday 8th October 2012, it was recited once again, on Saturday 29th April 2017, at the Crowning Ceremony of the Statue of Blessed Mother, The Our Lady of Katunayake, which was crowned with a Golden Crown, studded with Blue Gems. From there onwards until now, it is amazing to see the way devotees are receiving help and assistance when they recite this prayer every Saturday at 5 pm. These are the Genuine Miracles that are taking place with the total consent of the Blessed Mother.
The next Recital of the Miraculous Prayer, which has helped many devotees in solving their grievances, will be offered on 24th November, the next Saturday at 5 in the evening.
Out of devotees who converged on Saturday evening 17th November 2018, at the Miraculous Shrine of Our Lady of Katunayake, a group of them were able to enter Holy Apostles Peter & Paul garden to recite the ‘Miraculous Prayer’ to the Immaculate Mother of God. These images are of that occasion.
