His Holiness the Apostle Rohan LalithAponso celebrated the 62nd milestone of his life journey on 2nd February 2019. To celebrate the special day, His Holiness The Apostle offered the birthday lunch to “Aloka” Elders Home, Pinwatta, Panadura which remain the home of many lonely elders.
His Holiness the Apostle cut His 62nd birthday cake amid the sound of happy birthday greetings, clapping and well wishes of the elders reside at Aloka Elders home whom were mistreated and left alone by their own children and homes.
His Holiness the Apostle reached these vulnerable elders as they live very isolated lives waiting for their death, without any opportunity to see their children’s or Grand Children’s Birthday celebrations. When His Holiness the Apostle cut and shared His birthday cake among 80 elders, their eyes welled up with happy tears. They all wholeheartedly wished various wishes for His Holiness the Apostle for His birthday.
It is extremely admirable and praiseworthy how these elders have beautifully decorated and organized the dining hall of Aloka Elders home for His Holiness the Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso to the best of their ability, despite their own various physical disabilities.
