His Holiness the Apotolic Father Rohan Lalith Aponso offered His heartfelt condolences regarding the devastating attacks took place at several Sri Lankan churches and hotels on the Easter Sunday.
Making a statement on 21st April 2019 evening, His Holiness the Apostolic Father stated, that the people whose hands involved on spattering blood on Easter Sunday which remain a Holy day for all Christians, cannot be considered as persons who belong to any religion. If there is a group or a mass or a clique who promote violence through an opinion or a word or an action, there is no religion in that place; further stated His Holiness the Apostolic Father Rohan Lalith Aponso.
His Holiness the Apostolic Father stated that He will pray for all souls of the deceased and will pray for the comfort, console and health of the people including children who suffer from the injuries gained during the attacks.
