As a result of listening to a sermon preached by His Holiness the Apostolic Father Rohan Lalith Aponso, according to a teaching of the Jesus Christ, the young couple Ranga and Sanduni decided to embark on their marital life by getting married at Aloka Elders Home, Panadura and offering a flawless wedding feast to the Elders who resides at the Elders Home. On that day, His Holiness the Apostolic Father also traveled to Aloka Elders Home, Panadura, officiated the marriage and blessed the new couple.
The vulnerable elders who live alone, away from the love of their children also joined the wedding ceremony with the relatives of the new couple. His Holiness the Apostolic Father Rohan Lalith Aponso addressed the newlyweds and propounded various advises for a better-married life. Holy Apostolic Father said to the couple, from now on both should eat together when they are at home. His Holiness the Apostolic Father explained that today in many houses meals are taken either in front of the television or in front of the computer while in another house meals are taken while using mobile phones and in such places, the residents eat with the television or with the computer or with the mobile phones. But from now onwards son Ranga and daughter Sanduni, must eat together in one table, stated The Apostolic Father.
In many houses, even though there is a dining table, it is wrapped with a cover; when there are visitors, the cover is removed and only the visitors are served on the table while the residents seat in various places for their meals in other days. The Apostolic Father said this is an extremely unpleasant habit. His Holiness the Apostolic Father Rohan Lalith Aponso emphasized the newly wedded couple that they should absolutely own a dining table with a pair of chairs and the dining table and two chairs are more powerful than the bed.

Later, the couple walked to the place where the bedridden elders are at with His Holiness the Apostolic Father.
