Sunday, August 25th evening a meeting was held at the Holy Apostles Peter & Paul garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine. It was the monthly gathering conducted by donor members of the Shrine with His Holiness the Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso.
After this gathering, the two brothers of the same family came to His Holiness the Apostle. That was Rashen Bandara and Randev Bandara who are studying at Gateway International School, Katunayake.
On that day at that moment, these two brothers, who are the sons of Mr & Mrs. Nilnuwan Bandara from Negombo, handed over one hundred thousand rupees to His Holiness the Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso. That was for the new television studio of the Apostolic Media Network.
“From where did you get this money?” His Holiness the Apostle asked from these two brothers. The elder brother, Rashen Bandara answered stating that their father has given one hundred thousand rupees for both of them to buy anything they prefer, and he has proposed his younger brother to give this money to His Holiness the Apostle for the new television studio.
With that Randev Bandara said he agreed to his elder brother’s proposition since it was their desire the whole world to know about the sermons of His Holiness the Apostle and not only them.
Explaining the nobility of the donation done by these two brothers, His Holiness the Apostle expressed to the people who assembled for the gathering, how may things preferred to buy from one hundred thousand rupees by two children in this age, since it was the desire of these two children to spread the doctrine to the whole world, they became the owners of many merits.
