His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, the 2nd Apostle, who was chosen and appointed by Lord Jesus Christ by making His appearance in person in this world, is the Only Apostle, who is presently living in this world
His Holiness the Apostle was born on 1st February 1957, precisely at 12 in the midnight in the private hospital belongs to Dr. M. S Weerakoon, who was then living in Negombo. Dr. Weerakoon was the doctor in-attendance at His Birth.
The late Mr. & Mrs. G. C. Aponso, who were affluent businessman in that area were His parents. His Holiness The Apostle inherited a massive wealth by His birth. Yet, even today, His Holiness does not use the offerings that are offered by the devotees for His personal up keep. Not only that, He even spend His personal wealth for the general maintenance of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
At His 62nd birthday celebration held in year 2019, His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso related a strange story about His long life journey. He said out of the lives which He has thus far spent in this world, the lowest period which He spent in this world was 39 years. Elaborating it further, His Holiness said, when it is counted in days, it is 14235 days, and the highest period which He spent in this world was 90 years, and when it is counted in days, it is 32850 days.
His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, has given us a nice thought for novel thinking. His Holiness has thus far spent 64 years on this earth in this life journey, and when it is counted in days, it is 23360 days.
