46 years ago, the Most Blessed Virgin Mary made Her appearance in person for the 1st time in front of His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine in Sri Lanka. It was also the 1st occasion of Most Blessed Virgin Mary’s appearance in Sri Lanka.
The Most Blessed Virgin Mother made Her appearance in person for the 1st time on 5th February 1975. She has thus far appeared in person in front of His Holiness The 14th Apostle for Twenty-Three Times. As a result of the assistance thousands of devotees who visited Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine in faith, where She made Her appearance in person, have received during this period of 46 years, people themselves have made this Shrine widely known as the “Most Miraculous Shrine”.
Devotees are eagerly anticipating to offer the Rosary Recital at the Miraculous Statue of Blessed Mother on 6th February at 6pm at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine to offer their petitions and to thank the Most Blessed Virgin Mother, who has thus far performed astonishing miracles for the last 46 years.
On this day, you will receive the opportunity to insert your petitions into the Red Box, placed at the foot of this Miraculous Statue of Most Blessed Virgin Mother Mary.
