His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso offered a Special prayer on Saturday evening 31st July, on behalf of devotees, who assembled at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine in the midst of ongoing pandemic situation.
This Prayer, which His Holiness offered to the Blessed Mother from His room, was aired through the public address system installed in the Shrine Ground. It was observed that devotees were most reverently listening to His Holinesses’ words. Before His Holiness offered His prayer, devotees lit Apparition Candles and recited Rosary Recital in front of the Miraculous Statue of Most Blessed Virgin Mary.
His Holiness The Apostle offering a prayer on behalf of devotees was indeed a relief for them who arrived at the Shrine in the midst of the pandemic despite of considering the distance. It was significant that His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, who was blessed to receive the rare fortune of seen Most Blessed Virgin Mother with His own eyes for Twenty-Three Times, giving an opportunity for devotees to pray silently for few minutes at the end of His prayer.
The Governing Board of the Shrine took maximum steps to implement all health protective measures for all devotees in accordance with government health regulations.
Rosary Recital will be offered on next Saturday 7th August at 5pm too in front of the Miraculous Statue of Most Blessed Virgin Mary, and at the end of Rosary, His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso will offer a Special Prayer to the Blessed Mother on behalf of all devotees who will be present at the Shrine on that day.
