His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, while offering the Rosary together with His devotees on last Saturday evening, (21st August 2021) declared that Sri Lanka is truly sans a doctor and the country has become a one whole hospital, filled with many patients with serious conditions. His Holiness further asserted that all are stranded in front of the global pandemic which is gazing at the people with the written death warrant.
The Most Holy Apostle offered the Rosary from the Holy Apostles’ Peter & Paul Garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine together with His local and overseas devotees who were connected with Him via zoom technology. His Holiness also offered a Special prayer to the Blessed Mother on behalf all devotees.
The Social Media Unit of the Apostolic Media Network under the advice of Director of Apostolic Media Network, Mr. Manoj Chinthaka organized this occasion and carried out the technical work.
This occasion was restricted only to local and overseas devotees who belong to Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, who are making an effort to live in accordance with the teachings of His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso.
The Miraculous Statue of Most Blessed Virgin Mary was established on a Special altar in Holy Apostles’ Peter & Paul Garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, and the Statue was decorated with lovely flowers around it. The Apparition Candles, donated by devotees were lit at the foot of the Statue of Blessed Mother.
