Mrs. Agnes Meraya De Silva who was residing in Kurana, Negombo, passed away on 14th September 2014 and her burial took place on Tuesday evening16th September 2014.
The funeral service of the late Mrs. Agnes Meraya De Silva was presided over by the Most Holy Apostolic Father, His Holiness Rohan Lalith Aponso. His Holiness the Apostolic Father arrived at the residence of late Mrs. Agnes Meraya De Silva on Tuesday evening 16th September to conduct the final rituals. After conducting the funeral service at her residence, the Holy Apostolic Father also conducted a short funeral service at the cemetery before her body was buried.
The late Mrs. Agnes Meraya De Silva was 80 years of age at the time of her death. She became an ardent devotee of His Holiness the Apostolic Father since she got to know him 40 years ago. She guided her children how to conduct their lives according to the teachings of Holy Apostolic Father and was happily watching her children receiving the blessings of Holy Apostolic Father and conducting their journey of lives according to the teachings of His Holiness the Apostolic Father.
