His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso celebrated His forty third Christmas mid night Holy Mass year 2017 also, as traditionally conducted at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
The Christmas Holy Mass, which was commenced in the midnight of December 24th, was the Forty Third Christmas Holy Mass, celebrated by His Holiness, The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, as an Apostle. His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso received this Most Sacred Divine Appointment, the ‘Apostleship’ on 7th February 1975. It is the Most Noble position any Christian could receive in this world itself. This Most Scared position is granted only by the Head of all Christians – The Jesus Christ himself and only 14 persons had received this Most Sacred Appointment during the last two thousand and seventeen years. The last person to receive this Most Scared appointment at the 14th time was His Holiness The Apostle Rohan Lalith Aponso, who is residing at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine in Sri Lanka.
This time also, Christmas Holy Mass was celebrated in Holy Apostles Peter & Paul garden of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
His Holiness The Apostle, who was immaculately dressed in Gold colour vestments, blessed all the Devotees present with the “Statue of Bethlehem Baby Jesus.”
Many people from all over the country gathered with lot of faith and devotion to attend the Christmas Holy Mass celebrated at Our Lady of Katunayake Shrine, by His Holiness The Apostle, who is the only living Holy Apostle in the world today.
