It has been reported to us that a Powerful Miracle has taken place in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, where our loving Most Blessed Virgin Mary, The Mother of Full of Graces, who makes Her live presence from time to time, and performing most amazing miracles.
A Cyst, which was in the abdomen of a 22 year old youth, which was growing into a stage of a cancer, was completely disappeared and healed. This miraculous happening was a powerful miracle, which has taken place at the foot of the Statue of Most Blessed Virgin Mother Mary, which is established in the Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, where the Statue is showing Life Signs from time to time. The youth, who got healed at the foot of the Statue of Most Blessed Mother has described the moment of his healing.
After I lighted ma candle at the place where the candles are lit in the Apparition Church, straightaway I went into the vehicle. Thinking that my request will be fulfilled; I checked my abdomen with utmost faith. My cyst was not there. It has got disappeared. The Most Holy Apostle, The Immaculate Katunayake Mother and Baby Jesus, who is on Her arm, have made the cyst, which was growing into a stage of a cancer in my abdomen, to disappear’. On Monday, doctors carried out some tests on me and said, ‘Son, now that cyst is not there.
The Apparition Church of Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, where this amazing happening took place, will be open for devotees on next Saturday evening 12th February. The Miraculous Prayer Recital will be offered at 5pm in front of the Miraculous Statue of Blessed Mother with lighted candles.
The complete description which this youth has written about his healing is as follows.
I went to Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine for the 1st time on last 14th July Saturday after I got to know about the Shrine. I went there with utmost faith thinking that Blessed Mother Mary will also help me, since I got to know that a serious illness of a friend of mine was healed at this Shrine, where Most Blessed Virgin Mary made Her appearance.
I am 22 years old. From a period of month’s time, something sort of a cyst was surfacing in my abdomen. At the start there was no pain coming from it. But later on pain started. That tiny cyst was also growing, and became in the form of a middle size lime fruit.
Doctors said it is turning into a stage of a cancer. Therefore, advised me to undergo a surgery as soon as possible to remove it. They further said surgery also will be somewhat complicated due to the place where the cyst is. I was suffering a mental agony as a result of the pain which is coming from the cyst from time to time.
After taking part in the Miraculous Prayer Recital, which is taking place at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine on Saturday evenings, I inserted my petition into the Red Box for the 1st time on Saturday 14th July, for the healing of my illness. From there onwards, every Saturday with utmost faith, I inserted my petitions into the Red Box. My faith and expectations in Our Lady of Katunayake increased, because day by day I heard stories of help people have received at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
In the meantime, a special period, consecutively for 5 Saturdays, to obtain grace, began to mark the handing over of the newly built Apparition Church to the Most Immaculate Mother. On 11th August and 18th August, both days, I went inside the Apparition Church and told my pain and suffering and my expectations to the living Blessed Mother and inserted my petitions into the Red Box and lit Apparition Candles.
During this period of obtaining grace, last Saturday also I went to Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine with a written request for my healing. First of all I knelt in front of His Holiness to get the Apparitions Candles blessed. His Holiness smiled with me without any pride and blessed me and placed His hand as usual on my head. Then at once, from the place in my head, where His Holiness placed His hand, an instant some kind of a strength was going inside my body like a current up to the cyst which is in my abdomen and I felt pain in the cyst. I worshipped His Holiness The Apostle and took the candle and my petition and went inside the Apparition Church bearing the pain, and raised the candle and my petition in front of the living Blessed Mother and offered my prayers and inserted my letter into the Red Box and again, looked at the living Blessed Mother. Oh! She smiled with me calmly! Oh! Baby Jesus, who was on Her arm also smiled with me. That smile was lovely. I felt like running and going to Her to kiss Her feet. So far, I who did not see any sign from the living Blessed Mother, felt that my expectation is also getting fulfilled and not only I saw Her smiling face on last Saturday, but saw the smiling face of Baby Jesus as well. With that pain also disappeared.
