I am 42 years old. I was fortunate to get cured from the Blessings of Blessed Virgin Mary at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, for my sickness, which I was suffering from the age of 15 years onwards.
From the time of my schooling days, I was suffering from an ailment in my ears. Pus was coming out of my ears was a symptom to my sickness. It didn’t get cured even though I took medical treatments. At that time, I was 15 years old. My studies also got neglected due to this ailment.
Whenever I sleep, and wake up, I could see the pus that has come from my ears, on my pillow. Usually, during the daytime also, whenever I attend to some work, I used to get a slight ear ache, and along with the pain, pus was coming out from my ears. Due to this ailment, I did my job also with a great difficulty.
Finally, I went to Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine, where Blessed Virgin Mary Appears. I went to Katunayake’s Shrine, every 1st Saturday of the month and during the Holy Mass, when the moment of the “Intercession of Blessed Virgin Mary” dawns, and at the moment, when the Holy Apostolic Father “Blesses the Sick”, I prayed for the cure of my sickness. I also handed over a request letter to the Holy Apostolic Father every Saturday evening, describing my ailment and also received his Apostolic Blessing.
When I was in the Shrine, I got to know that when we hand over our request letters to the Holy Apostolic Father, he reads those letters and intercedes before the Blessed Virgin Mary, on behalf of us. Therefore, I hoped and believed that I will get cured.
Within a period of 10 weeks, I handed over only 10 letters to Holy Apostolic Father. I was totally cured. The ailment which I was suffering for the last 27 years, that means for the last 1404 weeks, was totally cured within 10 weeks that means within 10 Saturdays, after I received the Blessing at Our Lady of Katunayake’s Shrine.
